This is just an example of one Wild Hebrides tour. We are able to shape the tours to meet the interest of your group
- Day 1
Friday. Catch the ferry from Oban to Barra and spend the first night in our lovely Lodge with stunning views over Castle Bay to the islands and beaches beyond. (Or you can fly in from Glasgow landing on the famous Cockle beach at low tide)
- Day 2
Saturday. After a good breakfast we will warm up by cycling down to Vatersay and taking a walk over some of the beautiful white beaches. After lunch we will head back up to Castlebay and walk up Barra's highest hill Heaval with stunning views down to Vatersay, Sandray, Pabby and Mingulay. (There will be the option of sea kayaking today)
- Day 3
Sunday. The morning will be spend exploring the north end of Barra before catching the ferry over to Eriskay. From here we will bike the quiet roads of Eriskay and South Uist and set up camp with views overlooking a wonderful white beach (There will be the option of sea kayaking today)
- Day 4
Monday. Today we will take the opportunity to hike up Uist's highest hill Ben More with the option of also taking in the lovely hill Hecla. This is real Scottish hill walking, which has beautiful views over South Uist and beyond.
- Day 5
Tuesday. Moving north we will spend the morning walking up Eaval on North Uist. On a clear day the views form this solitary peak are quite stunning. We will then spend the afternoon biking up the beautiful west coast of North Uist passing quite crofts and lovely sandy beaches.
- Day 6
Wednesday. After breakfast we will catch the ferry over to Harris. The morning will be spend hiking up Toe Head which has incredible views over the Sound of Harris and over towards Taransay and the hills of Harris. The afternoon will be spend cycling up the stunning west coast of Harris to our campsite for the night.
- Day 7
Thursday. Today is a full days hill walking in Harris's high hills.
- Day 8
Friday. We will cycle down the twisting east coast of Harris arriving at Leverburgh in time to catch the ferry down to Barra and the evening ferry back to Oban.
